Following the presentation of the new MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One team, fans can now try their hand at becoming real racing drivers. This opportunity is possible thanks to a world exclusive at the Mercedes-Benz Museum, featuring two Sony PlayStation®3 driving simulators and a demo version of the new Gran Turismo ®5 game, scheduled to appear on the market during the course of 2010.

Things have been hotting up recently in the Passage, located between the Museum Shop and The Fascination of Technology exhibition. Here two driving simulators offer museum visitors and gaming enthusiasts an opportunity to take up the challenge of getting behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supersports car. Excitement is guaranteed, since the race pits the driver of the new Gullwing against eleven virtual competitors. And the Nürburgring, which has been authentically recreated for Gran Turismo®5, is ranked as one of the world’s most demanding racing circuits.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum is presenting the Gran Turismo®5 SLS AMG Driving Experience daily except Mondays, from 10.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. until 28 March 2010. Admission to the Passage is free of charge.
