"Welcome home" has been the slogan for the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. "Welcome to the MTC" is now the slogan for 30 Mercedes-Benz Club members, who get the opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the center of vehicle development on September 30th 2009.

The members will participate in guided tours trough selected areas of the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center in Sindelfingen, which are normally not accessible to the public. And they have the opportunity to gain fascinating insights into the areas “Crash Test”, “Vibration engineering and Acoustics”, “Climate Simulation Canal”, “Bodyshell work E-class and assembly S-class”, "Design Philosophy by Mercedes-Benz" as well as into other research areas. The members will visit two to three of these areas as a minimum.

The costs of this special guided tour will be taken over completely by the Mercedes-Benz Club Management; the members only have to pay for their travel expenses. Depending on the needs of the group, the guided tour will be held in German or in English.

The Mercedes-Benz Club Management organizes numerous activities for the members of the Mercedes-Benz brand clubs every year. These activities intensify the relationship between the Management and the Clubs and consistently strengthen the role of the members as ambassadors, multipliers and customers.
